The terms that apply when you use the PSCraft site and editor.

Agreement

By using PSCraft you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

What PSCraft is

PSCraft is a free website that hosts the web build of PhotoCraft, an open-source image editor, together with guides on using it. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time.

The editor's licence

The editor is PhotoCraft, developed by the ArtCraft team and contributors and released under the MIT and Apache-2.0 licences. Those licences, not these terms, govern the editor software itself. The licence texts are distributed with the editor: MIT and Apache-2.0.

PSCraft is an independent host. It is not produced, sponsored or endorsed by the ArtCraft team.

Your content

Everything you open, create or export in the editor remains yours. Your files are processed on your own device and are not sent to us, so we claim no rights over them and cannot access them. You are responsible for having the right to use the material you edit.

Saving your work

The browser version of the editor does not save automatically and has no crash recovery. Save or export your work before closing or reloading the page. We are not responsible for work lost because it was not saved.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the site in violation of any applicable law;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site's systems;
  • interfere with or disrupt the site, or place an unreasonable load on it;
  • present PSCraft, or anything on it, as an Adobe product or as the official PhotoCraft site.

Trademarks

PSCraft is not affiliated with Adobe. Adobe and Photoshop are trademarks of Adobe Inc. PhotoCraft and ArtCraft belong to their respective owners, as do the other product names mentioned on this site. These names are used only to identify the products concerned and to describe compatibility.

Site content

The guides and other text on this site are ours. You are welcome to link to them and to quote short passages with attribution.

No warranty

The site and the editor are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. The editor is alpha software: it may contain defects, and features may change or be removed. Check important work before you rely on it.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PSCraft is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the site or the editor, or from being unable to use them.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms. When we do, we will update the date at the top of the page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
